After more than six year of the outbreak of the Syrian crisis, it can be said, determined and confirmed, that the bets of the filthy triplet: the imperialism led by the sponsor of global terrorism, the United States, the Zionism led by the Occupation State “Israel”, and the Arab reactionary led by Saudi Arabia, have failed their bets.
Even more, the expectations of the leaders of this axis, the anti-Arab nationalism, in words and deeds, seems today as if taken from the world of fantasy. Moreover, we do not escape the truth if we say that the failure of this axis has become clear and obvious in the estimation of its officers about the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s remaining in power.
All of them, from A to Z, relying on their intelligence, have confirmed in numerous occasions that the days of Assad are numbered, and this statement turned to a slogan which they recite as parrots.
All the leaders of this axis, without exception, have failed a tremendous failure in predicting things. The matter did not stop there, many of those who adopted this statement have terminated their political life, and the other part has become in the other world, while President Assad is still in power, noting that war against Syria involves terrorists from 100 countries and more.
In this context, it is important to pay attention to the following statement: An Israeli political source told the Hebrew website WALA that the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has proved a tremendous resilience capacity that no one expected. Moreover, the Israeli website quoted Western sources as saying that Assad’s actions have actually astonished the intelligence community in the West, especially as he has succeeded in maintaining the unity of the Syrian army and his alliance with Iran and Hezbollah.
In this context, it is not a deficiency to recall a number of statements by senior leaders who have adopted the saying “The days of Assad are numbered” and made an Arab and world opinion that fuels the war in Syria, waiting for the fall of the Syrian President.
In October 2012, former US President Barack Obama expressed his confidence that the days of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad were numbered, stressing that the Syrians are the ones who would determine their own future.
On his part, former Prime Minister Ehud Barak summed up Tel Aviv’s position on the Syrian crisis in a speech in the Austrian capital of Vienna in December 2011, pointing out that the fall of the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad would be a blessing for the Middle East region and that this regime would end and fall, as he said.
the head of the Israeli entity at the time, Shimon Peres, has blessed the efforts of the Arab League against Syria and pointed out in an interview with CNN that the end of President Assad will be similar to the end of the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, and “Israel” which relied on the fall of Assad, is now adopting a policy which states that the overthrow of the Syrian President is a strategic interest of the first degree, because this will weaken the axis of resistance and confrontation consisting of Syria, Iran and Hezbollah, and sometimes also the Palestinian Hamas movement.
