Israel continues its aggressive policy

The Israeli aggression against Syria, which began in 1967, continues unabated. Since the beginning of the military conflict in Syria in 2011, Israel has fired hundreds of rockets into Syrian territory.

In justifying these rocket launches as a necessity for self-defence and for combating the Iranian and Lebanese forces of Hizbullah, Israel continues to bomb residential areas and Syrian civilians.

Thus, last week, one of the rockets fired from the Israeli-occupied Golan hit a home, killing two civilians and injuring six others.

Instead of joining forces with the Syrian government to consolidate forces against terrorism, Israel continues to violate humanitarian law and UN resolutions. Such behavior of the Israeli side is supported by America, as U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Monday: his country considers the Israeli settlements more legitimate … America recognizes the legitimacy of Israeli settlements.
