Kurdistan between illusion and truth . Part (12)

Al-Masoudi, the historian in his book (Mourouj Al-Zahab, vol. 1, pp. 78-79), talks about those who inhabited the mountains, and they are called Kurds in the Levant, Morocco, North, and South of the Arabs and Kurds, i.e.

the permanent mountain dwellers, the Jet, Baluj, and Cluj, who are the cage.

In the countries of Kerman and the Berbers in the land of Africa and Morocco, from Ktama, Zouila, Mezana, Loutah, Hawarah, Sennajah, Europe, Malta, and other camp nations.

That is, in the mountains, all of them are said to respond as an adjective, not an ethnic one.

As long as we are still in the journey to search for Kurdish roots, it is a scientific and fair duty to say that the best of books in the history of the ancient Kurds is (Muhammad Zaki Nassif), may God have mercy on him in his wonderful book “Summary of the History of the Kurds and Kurdistan” from the earliest historical times to date in two parts and named In Kurdish, “a summary of the history of Kurdistan and Kurdistan,” the first volume of them was published in 1931 CE and the second in 1937 CE.

He also wrote two books on the topic, the first : (famous Kurds) and the second : (the history of Sulaimaniyah and its states).

One of these articles was mistakenly stated to be Egyptian, and the truth is that he is a Kurd from Sulaimaniyah.

He died in 1948 in Baghdad, and his body was transferred to his hometown in Sulaimaniya and was buried there.

And he, may God have mercy on him, wrote in his book, that this is a book of history for the Kurdish nation not without shortages and shortcomings; rather, I believe that there is a great shortage in it, despite the result of research and study of two hundred and fifty volumes of English, French, German, Arabic, Turkish and Persian books.

And I still see that this topic desperately needs research and study, and all I can say about it : It is fit to be the nucleus of the Kurdish youth investigators and other intellectuals who are Kurdish readers and who are interested in them.

To find ambiguity in it. I said so are the great scholars always humble and greatness may be in what they wrote.

I also said : There is no doubt that the Kurdish people are a people that contribute to building the history of most of the nations that followed on the stage of historical events in ancient Asia during several centuries.

Perhaps it was mentioned in the past for their active contribution to guarding the Assyrian caravans, which indicates the characteristic of strength and courage in them to the degree associated with this courageous character with the Kurdish.

Hence, we also see that it is not surprising that most countries in the world, especially the old ones, contribute in writing about the Kurds, and increase our information about Kurdistan.

In addition to what was written by the late Zaki Beg, we stand with some of the leading leaders of the brave Kurds of the time as he identifies Kurdistan as Zaki Beck identified, saying: “The original source of the Kurds is the inner arc of the Taurus Zagros line which is considered the upper basin of the Euphrates and the Tigris ..” .

See the book of the Kurdish Leader Abdullah Ocalan (From the State of the Sumerian Priests Toward a Democratic Civilization), p / 394, Voice of Kurdistan, April 2002.

And what will come in this book is what is crystal clear that there is no history of the Kurds on the Syrian island and that they recently migrated to it from Ataturk’s injustice and chasing them.

Yes historically, and through the words of their senior historians and leaders loyal to the Kurdish issue have no history in the province of Hasaka or other border strip.

There are old families in most Syrian cities, according to the poet: The bird falls where love spread .
